Any type of tracking system ultimately requires a map, so it was
a logical progression for us to move into developing our own tracking
and location systems. As is our want, however, we didn’t
just follow the herd; our goal was to develop tracking systems
that would break new ground and provide value for money for our
current and potential customers.
The rapidly developing mobile phone market offered a low cost
medium that could provide major benefits to both business and
consumer customers alike. Hence this is the technology we chose
on which to base our first tracking product, VeriLocation’s
web based GSM sim tracker.
It is a cost effective method of tracking assets; it is a cheap
way of locating vehicles where pin-point accuracy is not necessary
and it is an excellent tool for finding remote workers in the
field.
As mobile phone ownership is now ubiquitous there is no need for
hardware investment.
Having successfully launched the mobile tracking system we wanted
to provide a GPS tracking system that would enable those who wanted
to track more precisely and more regularly, with a web based system
that did away with complicated cost structures.
Our VeriLocation GPS achieves those goals and more. Structured
around one flat fee with no hidden charges it provides operators
with unlimited tracking via the web and full fleet management
tools across the whole of Europe.
